Tickets for our next concert, Spring Awakening on Thursday 23 March at 7pm, will go on general release on Monday 27 February with all tickets priced at £3. All groups performing in the National Festival regional will be performing in this concert - please see timings below. As usual, we would welcome donations of potential prizes for the raffle - maybe you have a few unwanted Christmas presents around...
We have our next Friends committee meeting on Tuesday 28 February at 7pm when we will be working on help and cake making rotas for the NFMY – everyone is welcome to attend.
We have our school musical, Oliver! next week on Wednesday 1 - Friday 3 March at 7pm; tickets are adults £10 and concessions £5.

The proposed Big Band Tour to Florida in February 2018 has proved to be viable and more details will be sent out soon.
Our next Fish & Chip Quiz Evening will be held on Fri 28 April and the application form and menu for your teams are below.
Both the summer concerts - Music Matters 1, Wed 21 June, and Here Comes the Sun!, Wed 28 June, - will have priority booking dates for Friends of NSB Music of Monday 8 May, with tickets going on general release on Monday 15 May. Tickets for Music Matters 1 will all be £3 and for Here Comes the Sun! tickets will be adults £5, concessions £4, Friends £3.
On the last Training Day of the school year, Friday 30 June, we will be hosting the Trinity College of Music Jazz Day for all three of our Big Bands, with workshops followed by a short concert. We held this event last year and as it proved so popular with the students we are planning on making this an annual occurrence.
We will be hosting a Jazz Group from the University of Southern Florida on July 13 & 14 so we may change the Jazz @ The Cripps Summer Hog Roast from Sat 15 July to Fri 14 July at 6pm so that they can join us in concert - more details will follow about this as soon as possible. One of our ex-pupils, Sam Round, is a member of the group visiting England and we would love to welcome him back to NSB!
