The Department for Education released the provisional GCSE results and associated County League tables for schools across the country this week and our Year 11 students from last year can be justifiably proud of themselves. 

After the phenomenal success of the Sixth Form Production - 'Annie Jr', the Cripps Hall Theatre was filled again four times over this week with parents of prospective Year 7 students attending information presentations about the school. 

I can say with great confidence that core to the success of NSB is its incredible extra-curricular programme for the students which spans activities across a huge breadth of areas including music, dance, drama, sport, the arts , languages, literacy, numeracy, oracy, science, technology and many more...

It is quite astonishing how quickly this year has flashed by, but on reflection we can say that, for NSB, it has been a year full of success both academically and in the extra-curricular world. 

The student successes were again racked up with some incredible group and individual performances from NSB students, past and present, to illuminate the week.

There has been plenty to celebrate across the school this week with some outstanding performances in extra-curricular music, dance and sport.
