National Careers Week (NCW) is a week long celebration shining a light on career pathways. It’s an ideal time for parents to find out more about what choices your son/daughter has for after GCSEs and sixth form. On our dedicated NCW page on the school website we have a comprehensive parents guide that can provide you with support, advice, as well as teenage health and wellbeing information as your son/daughter progresses through their careers learning at NSB. Students this week are encouraged to get involved with the Virtual Careers Fair available to them via Unifrog and to engage with their PD morning sessions which explore a variety of pathways and industries across all the year groups. Students should also have access to their Careers in the Curriculum lessons this week which help them to make tangible links between their academic studies and skills, and how they can use them in the world of work later in life.
